In January 2025, the first coffee morning of the Centre of Excellence was held on the topic “The underground side of ecosystems - the role of plant roots, soil fungi and biota in nutrient cycles”.
The presentation was given by Ivika Ostonen, Professor of Root Ecology at the University of Tartu, and Marili Sell, Researcher in Root Ecology.
